This role is mostly remote (WFH) with occasional bi-weekly office visits for additional medical clerk/front desk duties.
The Medical Receptionist /assistant is responsible for A to Z office work including interacting with patients and office related calls and paper works, managing administrative tasks for the medical office.
The daily duties include but limited by timely answering calls , scheduling of new patient appointments according to Doctor's availability, explaining intake forms to new patients, answering or directing patient queries, and processing payments, checking patient insurance , calling insurance, ordering lab and images, follow up call , scheduling patient for procedure and paper works.
