Duties and
Responsibilities:
Optimize and manage outbound and dedicated operational strategy and execution.
Balance other costs of operations to minimize overall cost at the highest level of service possible while reducing risk.
Strong knowledge of outbound transportation operations, including carrier management and routing.
Lead and manage growth and development of 3PL, manage key carrier partnerships for retail delivery.
Lead and manage the timeline of developed transportation projects working with internal and external partners to reduce cost and improve service.
Develop and execute process improvement initiatives across the supply chain, with the ability to complete and communicate the analytics to the Supply Chain team.
Complete weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to showcase key metrics, with the ability to improve the existing reporting.
Lead and manage the timeline of developed transportation projects working with internal and external partners to reduce cost and improve service.
Identify new cost cutting and service improvement initiatives across the supply chain, with the ability to complete and communicate the analytics to the Supply Chain team.
Use of Access and advanced Excel skills on a daily basis with the ability to build original reporting on current and new projects when needed.
Collect and analyze data, generate conclusions and action plan, monitor progress Coordinate store schedule changes and communicate across cross functional team.
Identify opportunities, develop plans and execute process improvement projects.

Bachelor's Degree in supply chain preferred Skills (Required):
Bachelor's Degree required 2-3 years project management experience required 3-5 years of transportation related experience preferred A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected as part of the job performance and will need to rely on judgment and experience to accomplish goals Understanding and experience in project management and exposure to project management methodologies Understanding and experience in P&L management and reporting Flexible and adaptable in regards to learning and understanding new technologies Excellent written and oral communication skills Highly self motivated and directed Experience (Required):
2-3 -5 years project management experience required 3-5 years of transportation related experience preferred The anticipated salary range for this position is $105,400 - $158,200 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
