Job DescriptionProvide administrative support to the tax department.
Work on special projects as needed.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMailing and copying tax returns.
Maintaining tax return files.
Prepare miscellaneous excise tax returns.
Prepare and organize documentation for sales tax audits.
Prepare journal entries.
Assist with month end account reconciliation.

Some experience with computerized accounting and tax software.

Physical RequirementsGeneral office environment requiring ability to:
stand, walk, sit for extended periods of timespeak and listen to others in person and over the phoneuse keyboard and read from computer screen and reportslift up to 15 lbs.
Level of language needed to successfully accomplish the essential dutiesMust be able to speak and read EnglishLevel of mathematical skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential duties High school level math skillsLevel of reasoning skills needed to successfully accomplish the essential dutiesAbility to read and understand (in English) legal code regarding taxation issuesThe anticipated rate for this position is $23.
22 per hour depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience.
Associates can accrue paid sick time up to 64 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
The Company observes 100 hours of paid holiday time.
