The Agency Management System Administrator is expected to be a highly skilled professional responsible for the efficient operation and use of the AMS360 system and related insurance software.
They should have a strong understanding of agency management systems and their functionality to act as a subject matter expert.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES System Management:
Oversee & be responsible for all aspects of AMS360 and other related software, including but not limited to:
New User provisioning in AMS360 and ancillary products e.
g.
TransactNow, PLRating; Configure setup information, such as adding new branches and departments; Manage Code Maintenance such as coverage codes, parent and writing companies; In-application reporting; Carrier Download Setup Business-System Alignment:
Establish a clear connection between insurance business processes and system workflows.
System Setup:
Ensure that AMS360 is configured and maintained to meet our organization's evolving needs, focusing on scalability and safeguarding sensitive data.
Customize the AMS360 system to align with business requirements and integrate seamlessly with other software and tools.
Training:
Own and ensure the effectiveness and relevance of the AMS360 training program.
Train new and current staff, creating digital tutorials and documentation.
User Support:
Provide comprehensive user assistance, identify widespread issues, and troubleshoot effectively.
Train others in troubleshooting and tool usage.
Reporting:
Serve as an expert in generating and interpreting reports from AMS360.
Develop reporting solutions for data-driven analysis, train users on reporting features, and provide guidance on data extraction, analysis, and interpretation.
User Engagement:
Regularly meet with users and management to enhance user experience, competence, productivity, and overall system success.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with management and key stakeholders to develop a strategic roadmap for AMS360, including long-term planning and future enhancements to support organizational goals.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with vendors, including Vertafore and other AMS360-related providers, to stay informed about updates, enhancements, and support options.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to system architecture and reporting.
Propose and implement improvements to keep the organization at the forefront of technology and data management.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Vertafore AMS360 Expertise:
Possess a strong background in Vertafore AMS360 system, demonstrating deep knowledge and proficiency in its functionalities.
Prior accounting experience in AMS360 is advantageous, and experience in Insurlink, BenefitPoint, and WorkSmart is a valuable plus.
Proficient Insurance Agency Knowledge:
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in understanding day-to-day insurance business processes and workflows.
Prior experience with insurance agency operations is a must.
Detail Orientation:
Pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to anticipate and respond effectively to diverse and sensitive needs as they arise.
Training:
Preference for prior training experience in the retail insurance industry.
Effective Communication:
Exhibit excellent oral and written English communication skills, enabling clear and engaging presentations in both in-person and remote settings.
Continuous Learning:
Be proactive in self-learning and adapting to additional technology tools that may be required to excel in the role.
